These buggers can really become pests. A slightly larger one picked up an ammo box full of food from the doorstep of our tent and ran about 500m before his chronies joined him (which is where I stopped chasing). The amazing thing is the box weighed about 15kg's, and the heyena lifted it clear off the groud with it's jaws and jogged away with it like it was full of feathers...
You could imagine the demonic laughter of about twelve of these beasts as they gobbled up all the goodies inside... was pretty funny though!
